Please understand… scammers are getting smarter, and many people are being targeted during vulnerable moments involving warrants, arrests, court matters, and loved ones being incarcerated.

Individuals who are looking to scam you using bail bonds and/or law enforcement methods may pose as the following:

These individuals may pose as:

  • Deputies

  • Sergeants

  • Bail Bond Agents

  • Pre-Trial Release Programs

  • FBI Agents

  • Other law enforcement officials

Their goal is simple — to scare, pressure, and financially manipulate you.

If you receive a suspicious phone call:

🚨 Slow down and breathe.

🚨 Do NOT panic.

🚨 Do NOT rely on the caller ID or phone number that contacted you.

Scammers can make phone numbers appear legitimate.

Please be cautious if anyone requests payment through:

• Cash App

• Chime

• Gift Cards

• Wire Transfers

• Zelle or other payment apps

Many scammers will pressure you to send money immediately to “avoid arrest” or “help release someone from jail.” Please understand legitimate agencies and professional businesses do not operate this way.

Instead:

✔️ Hang up the phone

✔️ Contact your local law enforcement agency directly using their official number

✔️ Verify the information yourself

✔️ Ask questions before sending any money
